**Year In Review** OneFilmFan’s Top Films 2014 Part 1-MAINSTREAM

Happy New Year, readers!  It is with great humbleness that I extend a HUGE “THANK YOU!!” to anyone and everyone who in some way helped support me in this new adventure that is OneFilmFan.com.  It has been a great sense of accomplishment to have FINALLY put feet to a dream I have of becoming a professional film reviewer, with a GRAND total of over 90+ movies viewed and reviewed here for your reference.  The connections established in the industry this past year on top of the unexpected opportunities to speak directly with those involved in making and acting in film has been an exciting journey, and I look forward to what is to come!

So, with that said, it only seemed feasible to go ahead and list my personal top films of 2014, BUT, to do it in two separate posts, as I have more and more come to realize the value of the BOTH Mainstream AND Independent offerings. So, this first installment will focus on the MAINSTREAM films that struck me MOST OVERALL in 2014, for good OR ill! Not planning on details, as the links provided will be to my reviews of each.  Categorically arranged, in no particular order, here we go…..

TOP 10 OVERALL FILMS

TOP YA/FANTASY FILMS

TOP ACTION FILMS

TOP INSPIRATIONAL FILMS

TOP ANIMATED FILMS

TOP UNEXPECTEDLY GREAT FILMS

TOP DISAPPOINTING FILMS

So there you have it.  Of course, this is all my OPINION folks, so like my website tag line states, make up your OWN mind as to your faves and disappointments.  But, I am ALWAYS wanting to have people weigh in, so if you feel so inclined, PLEASE let me know about some of YOUR viewing choices from the past year.  AND…..as already indicated…..

This is all for YOUR consideration and comment.  Until next time, thank you for reading and please tell your friends about this site!  🙂
